SOUTH Shore Swimming Club president Debra Doody was named Swimming WA volunteer of the month for February.

Doody has spent three years as club president and been on the executive committee for eight years.

An avid fundraiser, when not at the pool Doody can often be found running a sausage sizzle and has sold hundreds of mangoes and chocolates to raise more than $10,000 in support of both the club and the club’s national swimmers.
