South Shore Swimming Club youngster has outstanding Junior Short Course State Championships

SOUTH Shore Swimming Club’s (SSSC) Thomas Dreverman was among the outstanding performers from the recent Junior Short Course State Championships after securing 12 individual podium finishes.

The 10-year-old finished the meet with 10 gold, a silver and one bronze.

He was also part of relay team to win bronze.

Thomas was one of a number of success stories for the SSSC at the meet.

Decland Mould finished with five bronze and a team bronze and Eben Prinsloo two silver, two bronze and a team bronze.

Jessica Fry scored a number of personal bests, with the club recording 99 PBs at the meet.

More than 500 swimmers aged 12 and under took part in the championships held at HBF Stadium.
