WAFL: Bull Creek Leeming product Jarrad Jansen to play for East Fremantle after 4-year AFL stint

BULL Creek Leeming product Jarrad Jansen will represent East Fremantle in the WAFL next year after four years in the AFL.

The 192cm big-bodied midfielder and half forward returns to Shark Park after two years at Geelong and a two year stint with the Brisbane Lions.

Jansen progressed through East Fremantle’s development program before his colts debut in 2012.

Geelong picked him up with selection 36 in the 2013 national draft but he was traded to the Lions after struggling to crack the Cats’ best 22.

He made his AFL debut in round 11 of the 2016 season and went on to play eight games.

The 23-year-old was also part of Brisbane’s 2017 NEAFL premiership side, collecting 25 disposals as the Lions beat Sydney by three points.
