Water Polo: Melville claims wins in men and women’s comps

Chris PikeMelville Gazette

MELVILLE Water Polo Club rolled on at the weekend with emphatic victories to both the men and women’s teams.

The Marlins continued their unbeaten start to the season with a thumping 20-4 victory over Triton at HBF Stadium, while the men’s Sharks also cemented their spot on top of the ladder with an 18-3 win over Dolphins at Claremont Pool.

The Marlins remain clear on top of the women’s standings, having won all four of their matches in defence of last season’s premiership triumph.
