Kindermusik is an internationally renowned curriculum that aims to strengthen a child's physical, mental, emotional and social functions through a variety of creative activities.

According to leading psychologists and neuroscientists, music and movement stimulates brain cells and helps generate the connections needed for childhood development.

Kate Walton, owner of Mini Movers Music in Guildford, offers the program to children up to five years of age and encouraged parents to get involved.

"The Kindermusik program is the largest early learning program in the world that has been thoroughly researched and proven to work," she said.

The 10-week program contains a mixture of singing, instrument playing, dancing, story time and much more in a family-friendly environment.

Ms Walton said families could join at any time during the 10-week program and even try a free class to see if the curriculum suited them.
