The new fish monger market in Midland Gate, near Coles, has been open for six months and Nguyen’s good name in fish is spreading as his business gets busier and busier.
With four full-time staff, the business is open seven days a week.
The fish are sourced from local fishermen and the fish market but mainly from Albany, Bunbury, Kalbarri, Exmouth, Geraldton and Two Rocks and sometimes the Kimberley region, he said.

Prices are very reasonable and Midland Gate marketing manager Sarah Moore said his store was a welcome addition to the mix of shops in the retail environment.
