Formerly a New Zealand retailer, she has transferred her stock and her skills across the ditch to set up in The Crescent.

As the newest homewares shop on the block, her stock offers shoppers a French-inspired shabby chic tradition.

Her previous outlet was on Jackson Street in Petone, Wellington, where she sold the same items but in a much bigger space.

“But it was solely a home decor store.

“Here I wanted to create a dual business, so introduced a small mini-cafe so people had one or two reasons to drop in and the combination makes the store and business a little more interesting,” she said.

Ms Sullivan believes boutique shopping strips are the way of the future and said she feels The Crescent has a lot of potential for retailers in the future.

“I looked into Maylands, Guildford and Kalamunda but Midland ended up being the place to be – it’s growing and changing every year,” she said.

Ms Sullivan said her products were sourced from various suppliers and sources, including France.

She has a Facebook page under the shop’s name and can be contacted on her mobile on 0416 811 698 for any inquiries regarding products for sale.
