Artistic friends show their work off at Guildford Village Potters

The exhibition called Brush and Threads features good friends Pauline Gill, Janice Alexander and Melanie Lowden.

Gill, a well-known watercolourist and member of The Watercolour Society WA, will showcase a rich and varied collection of paintings.

Her works include landscapes, seascapes and people, and reflect her impressions of the local and broader world around her.

Alexander and Lowden are both talented and experienced quilters.

They have included a big range of pieces, from large quilts to smaller works, which they hope will show the beauty and quality of the craft.

The exhibition will run from October 20 to November 15.

A meet-the-artist session will be held in the afternoon on Sunday, November 1.
