Food for thought

Visitors to the Gate until March 20 will be treated to interactive, in-centre activities which will showcase the food the region has to offer and inspire shoppers to explore new ingredients and recipes when cooking at home.

Shoppers will be able to learn from the best: local restaurant chefs Manu Fillaudeau and Caroline Taylor will deliver cooking demonstrations designed to educate and inspire cooks from all backgrounds and food groups.

Shoppers can show off their ‘signature dish’ – customers will be encouraged to submit their own recipe for the chance to win a Good Food and Wine tour valued at $190 – ‘Speed Grazing the Swan Valley’ – and have their winning recipe featured in the centre.
