A HILLS personal training studio is joining forces with the YMCA to bring a series of low cost group fitness classes to the Kalamunda community.

Absonfitness director Hayley Beckett said she was excited to partner with the YMCA over the next six weeks to give residents access to good quality training for just the cost of pool entry.

“The new group fitness sessions at Kalamunda Water Park are the perfect way to kick start your health journey, in a fun setting, using a technique that helped me lose more than 35kg,” she said.

“I had tried every fad diet and exercise program under the sun and still struggled to tie my own shoe laces,” she said.

“That’s when I decided there had to be a smarter way to lose weight and stay in shape.

“I created the Abson method, concentrating on core strength, balance and posture and have never looked back.”

YMCA spokeswoman Natascha Siebert said the sessions started at 4.30pm and run for an hour.
