A LEADING apartment hotel operator has opened its new building in Midland.

A company statement said the apartment hotel came as part of the Midland Oval redevelopment.

“This long-term project will deliver six sub precincts offering up to 1000 new dwellings, 25,000sq m of new retail space, 12,000sq m of restaurants and up to 90,000sq m of commercial space, making the new property the ideal location for the corporate traveller,” it said.

Quest growth general manager James Shields is confident in WA’s growing tourism market.

“Growing our base in Western Australia is a key priority for Quest, with a third Perth property, Quest South Perth Foreshore, set to open this year,” he said.

“I am thrilled to be opening the doors at Quest Midland today, joining the growing landscape of the City of Swan.

“The addition of these apartments is an asset to the region, and will help provide much-needed accommodation for guests doing business in the area, as well as providing a great accommodation option for leisure tourists.”

Quest Midland is promoting itself as a “home away from home”, with fully-equipped kitchen, business lounge, conference facilities and a heated swimming pool.
