Arson Squad looking for two teens possibly linked to Greenmount scrub fire

ARSON Squad detectives are seeking the public’s assistance with their investigation into a scrub fire in the Greenmount National Park on Tuesday, November 21.

About 4pm, a fire started at the quarry near Coulston Road in Greenmount.

Detectives would like to speak to two teenagers (a girl and boy) who were seen in the area who might be able to assist with this investigation.

The girl is about 12 to 14 years old, with light skin and long blonde hair that was in a ponytail.

She was wearing a blue dress, possibly checked with a yellow emblem on the left front.

The boy is also 12 to 14 years old with light skin.

He was wearing a blue tracksuit and a baseball cap.

The fire is being treated as suspicious and anyone with any information should call Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000 or make a report online.
