Bands set to rock the east at Live at the Spire

ORIGINAL live music is coming to Midland in a big way with the Crooked Spire Coffee House opening its doors to entertain the region.

Crooked Spire owner Mike Matich said he always envisioned bigger, brighter and louder things for the space.

“I’ve been encouraging music by supplying a buskers’ stage where local musicians can come in and play to a welcoming audience while they enjoy brunch, lunch and the beverages on offer,” he said.

“ I approached Sian McMillan from Ladybird Music Productions to host live music nights showcasing the spectacular talent that Perth has to offer.

“Sian has made it her mission within the Hills area to open doors for Perth music and spread the word that we have some amazing artists here and we need to keep the scene alive and pumping in the east.

The first night, dubbed Live At The Spire is on April 12 from 8pm to 11.30pm with live music from local bands The Volcanics, Scarlet Drive, PLACID, Porch and Indigo Walrus.
