Bank grant to help disadvantaged kids

The organisation, which has an office in Midland, received $10,000 from Commonwealth Bank.

It will support five financially disadvantaged students so they can go on to study at university or Tafe.

As well as helping with education-related expenses, the grant will help students benefit from a Learning for Life worker, who will monitor their progress to improve academic outcomes.
