Bickley Outdoor Recreation Camp to hold free open day next month

FAMILIES can experience a unique piece of the outdoors when the Bickley Outdoor Recreation Camp holds its free community open day next month.

Camp manager Aaron Bertram said some of the activities on offer were canoeing, climbing, cubby building, arts and crafts and reptile education.

“The State Government wants to provide opportunities for the community to access quality and affordable recreational activities,” he said.

“The open day will allow people to try their hand at a range of outdoor activities from vertical challenges, inflatable dodge ball and orienteering.

“Natureplay WA have also lent us equipment so kids can build their own bush cubby.”
