Blue tinge helps for fund raising

Sally MCGlewMidland Kalamunda Reporter

The initiative was co-ordinated by the School's Learning Support team, with the aim of raising awareness and money for Autism West through the sale of wristbands and blue cupcakes.

The wristbands were available for students to buy for $2 each, with students selling them at recess and lunchtime around the senior school campus.

Students were also able to purchase blue decorated cupcakes for $2 each at the senior and preparatory schools, with all proceeds from the sale of both items going directly to Autism West.

Autism Awareness Week aimed to raise community recognition of the needs and accomplishments of children and adults with autism.
