MORE than a 1000 students will have a second consecutive day home from school today as work continues to fix a burst water main at Kalamunda Senior High School.
The Department of Education contacted parents last night to advise them the school would be closed again today because there was still no drinking water or toilets available.
“A water pipe that supplies water to the school has burst and water has been turned off while plumbers are resolving the issue,” a department spokesperson said.
“There has not been any damage to the school as a result.
“The work on the burst water pipe will continue tomorrow (Wednesaday) so the school will be closed again.”
