Car seized in Midvale teen shooting

Montana ArdonMidland Kalamunda Reporter

POLICE have seized a car that was linked to the shooting of a teenager in Midvale yesterday.

The late-model red Holden Monaro was located overnight, after it was seen driving away from the Ferguson Street property where 19-year-old Jake Turner was shot in the leg.

Mr Turner was rushed to Royal Perth Hospital, where he underwent emergency surgery, after the gunshot narrowly missed an artery in his leg.

Mr Turner’s mum said she believed the shooting was over a long-running drug dispute.
