PEOPLE are invited to tour the soon-to-be-opened St John of God Midland Public Hospital at an open day on Sunday, September 13, from 9am to 4pm.
There will be 30-minute tours of the emergency department, paediatric unit and maternity unit.
The $360 million, 307-bed hospital is at 1 Clayton Street, Midland.
It will open its doors to the public on November 24 at 7am.
It includes the co-located $70 million 60-bed St John of God Midland Private Hospital.
Construction started on the public hospital in 2012 and is the first major hospital facility to be built in the Midland region for more than 50 years.
It is expected to treat about 29,000 inpatients, 60,000 emergency patients and 102,000 outpatients in its first year. More than 1000 people will work there.
