Chance to help save environment

Shire President Andrew Waddell said the committee looked at matters such as tree management, parks and open space, bushland maintenance, drainage and water course management, resource recovery, waste management and recycling and volunteer Friends groups and community environment activities.

“I strongly encourage residents interested in helping to preserve and maintain our environment to nominate,” he said.

“It is an ideal opportunity for residents |to really make a difference in our community.”

Nominations close on January 29.

The committee meets once every quarter at the Shire of Kalamunda administration and the term will end in October, 2017.
