City of Swan Council meetings move to four-weekly cycle

THE format of City of Swan council meetings has changed from a three to four-weekly cycle, with agenda forums held the week before council meetings.

Agenda forums are open to the public and provide an opportunity for councillors to share information.

Public questions and deputations that relate to reports on the agenda will occur at agenda forums in a less formal setting.

Members of the public will be able to ask questions about reports at agenda forums.

Deputations will be conducted at agenda forums in a less formal environment and additional time will be available for councillors to engage with the community on matters of concern relating to the agenda.

The next council meeting will be held on January 20 at 5.30pm at the Midland Town Hall.
