A DISABILITY support service in Midland is throwing its doors open to the community on September 24.
Crosslinks chief executive Denise Michelsen said the event coincided with the organisation marking 21 years of supporting people with disability and their families in the eastern region.
“We are inviting families and individuals with disabilities to come and see the many programs and opportunities we have to offer,” she said.
“This is also an opportunity for people who are interested in working in the disability sector to come and see how rewarding it can be working as a support worker for people with disability.
“We would love to see individuals who are leaving school in the coming years and are looking at what opportunities are available to them. With the introduction of the NDIS the possibilities are endless and Crosslinks firmly believe in the proposition of ‘ Your Life – Your Way’.”
