Cup cakes on the menu

Residents at Mercy Place Villa Maria are holding a Cupcake Day fundraiser on August 17 to support RSPCA WA.

Independent living unit manager Candice Long said residents were eager to take part.

"When our residents heard about Cupcake Day, they jumped on the opportunity to combine a morning tea for friends and family while helping to raise much-needed funds for RSPCA WA," she said.

"Our residents love baking, icing and eating cupcakes and the fact that by doing so we can raise money for the RSPCA is just the icing on the cake."
