Sarah BrookesMidland Kalamunda Reporter

CURTIN University researchers are recruiting 200 overweight Perth men to test the use of new technology in the fight against obesity.

The study, which is being run in partnership with LiveLighter and the East Metropolitan Health Service, will test the effectiveness of the latest diet mobile phone app and fitness tracker in helping men lose weight.

Participants will be required to complete an online survey to check their eligibility for the study and then eligible participants will be expected to meet with researchers six times over the next 12 months.
