The night before come rain, hail or shine Mr Cameron will be sleeping rough at the WACA ground to raise awareness of the plight of the homeless.
He will join about 110 other West Australian CEOs braving the cold as part of the annual Vinnie’s CEO Sleepout.
The event started in Sydney in 2006 and spread nationally to raise millions for the homeless cause.
It is Mr Camerons first year in the sleepout and he has set himself a target of raising $5000.
St Vinnies ask that you have a personal target of at least $5000. I must say I thought this was quite daunting, but have been pleasantly surprised by peoples generosity to date, he said.
It is good for me to get out of my comfort zone and get just a small glimpse and hope that I will be helping the cause.
Camping would be the roughest for me and that was many years ago.
Almost 10,000 West Australians experience homelessness on an given night, of which 25 per cent are children.
