Escape attempt fails

Sally McGlewMidland Kalamunda Reporter

Midland Police Senior Sergeant Craig Davis said the three men were in a grey two-door Skyline coupe on Morrison Road in Midland about 8.30am.

Snr-Sgt Davis said they failed to stop until the car hit a light pole on the corner of Morrison Road and Lloyd Street in Midland. The car had been stolen from Fremantle earlier that day,

Police said after the car hit the pole, two men emerged and ran off.

The canine unit was dispatched and found the men in a side street, after they had run through a retirement village.
