THE Esther Foundation will hold its biggest annual event at the historic Midland Town Hall this month.
The spring high tea will be on October 14, when guests can enjoy high tea delicacies while hearing stories about lives changed, bid on auction items and watch performances.
The foundation facilitates group therapy for issues and tasks such as substance abuse, family relationships, anger management, communication, high risk behaviours, budgeting and self esteem.

READ NOWEvent co-ordinator Annette Russell said the foundation had been providing its services, which include mentoring and counselling, for more than 20 years.
“(It) continues to break the mould against stigmas, resolute opinions and statistics that state that change cannot happen, and that only a bleak future is available to such a past and that there has surely been too much chemical damage through drug abuse to ever warrant reasonable healing,” she said.
“The young women who work hard through the Esther Foundation program are testimony to the potential that is available to them through their commitment.
“The monies raised from this special occasion will fund the health, development and leadership programs offered at Esther.”
