FEDERAL Opposition leader Bill Shorten will hold public meetings in Forrestfield on Wednesday night and Ellenbrook and Thursday night.

The Forrestfield meeting will be held at the Woodlupine Family and Community Centre from 6pm to 9pm.

The Ellenbrook meeting will take place at the Ellenbrook District Open Space, 27 Maffina Pde, at 6.30 for a 7pm start.

Forrestfield is in the marginal seat of Hasluck, currently held by Liberal Ken Wyatt.

In July it was announced Labor had endorsed 42-year-old Shire of Mundaring councillor James Martin to take on Mr Wyatt in the seat.

Ellenbrook is located in the Federal seat of Pearce which has been held by Liberal Party since it was first contested in 1990, however the seat – occupied by Attorney-General Christian Porter – is now considered marginal.
