THE first stage of a new residential subdivision in Forrestfield goes on sale this Saturday.

Developer Satterley bought the 28ha former Western Power site for $30 million last year as part of a sell-off of State Government assets.

Lots in The Hales estate will range from 357sq m to 531sq m, and will be priced from $268,000.

Satterley chief executive Nigel Satterley said the estate was built around marri and jarrah trees, Crumpet Creek and a parkland.

“The Hales is one of these infill areas undergoing revitalisation and significant investment from the State Government with the Forrestfield Airport Link,” he said.

The Hales is expected to be home to more than 1100 residents, providing a mix of single lots, terrace housing and group dwellings.

Satterley also invested $90 million in Upper Swan last year.
