The club is a finalist in no less than four separate major awards for excellence in the Clubs WA competition.

The categories include best club facility (medium size), best casual dining and best club members night while life member Geof Irvin has been nominated in the volunteer club legend category.

Life member Ken Ablett said out of the four, at least one of them should be good for a win.

‘We are pretty hopeful that one of them will take out a title,’ he said from behind the desk where he completes club paperwork as a volunteer.
