Fun for funds, awareness

High Wycombe resident Mike Feltham founded the group seven years ago while his daughter, Lauryn, battled cancer.

Even though Lauryn lost her battle, Mr Feltham said he wanted to continue to raise awareness and funds for the Cancer Council WA.

Every year the group joined more than 170 other teams from WA to take turns running laps around the WA Athletics Stadium for 24 hours.

‘Lauryn told me to wear a pink tutu the first year and so now it has become a tradition,’ he said.
