“I have always had a love of the land and part of that is knowing where the food I eat is coming from,” she said.

“I grew up on a sheep farm in a time of poor economics so a lot of my knowledge on preserving was passed down from my mother who saved and preserved almost everything as she couldn’t afford waste.”

There will be other demonstrations through out the day, such as how to grow micro greens and how to sprout.

People can get a free health-age assessment, health and lifestyle books, free neck and back massages and discover natural remedies for coughs, colds and headaches.

The event costs a gold coin donation.
