LOCALS can have their say on findings from community consultation on the Midland Oval precinct public open space.

Swan Mayor Mick Wainwright said a special presentation would be held at Midland Town Hall on August 22 and all stakeholders were invited to attend.

“Earlier this year, we asked the public for their input on the vision for the public open space that will be developed as part of this project,” Cr Wainwright said.

“In response to the feedback we received, we have made revisions to the Masterplan and now we are presenting this to the community.

“This presentation is a check-in point to ensure we have heard the feedback correctly and an opportunity for members of the public to actively provide input into the detailed design of the new precinct.”

The two-week feedback period starts Monday, August 22, and closes Friday, September 2.

The presentation will be held at Midland Town Hall on August 22 from 6pm.

Anyone interested in attending can register by emailing heartofmidland@swan.wa.gov.au or calling 9267 9267 by noon on August 19.
