Mahogany Creek: police call for witnesses to fatal motorcycle crash

A 54-YEAR-OLD motorcyclist from High Wycombe died at the scene of an accident in Mahogany Creek last Friday morning.

Major crash investigators would like to speak to anyone who saw the crash about 11am on the Great Eastern Highway, or the blue Triumph motorcycle travelling on the highway from Greenmount between 10.30am to 11am towards Mahogany Creek.

Police said the motorcycle was in a collision with a white Volvo Prime Mover towing two trailers near the intersection of Homestead Road.

The 44-year-old male driver of the truck was not injured.
