Maida Vale: teen charged for allegedly threatening woman with machete, confronting police with axe

A 16-year-old male will appear in court today charged with a number of offences after he allegedly threatened a woman with a machete yesterday.

Police were called to a house in Maida Vale about 10.30am where the man was allegedly threatening the woman.

The male then allegedly confronted police while wielding an axe.

Police arrested the juvenile charged him with criminal damage, bearing a controlled weapon, having an article to cause fear or harm and disorderly behaviour in a police station.
