Man fighting for life after fiery Forrestfield crash

A 22-year-old man is fighting for his life after a crash in Forrestfield overnight.

About 12.40am this morning, police were called to a crash in the south bound lanes of Roe Highway near Berkshire Road.

It was reported that a vehicle had crashed in bushes, caught fire and the driver was trapped.

The driver of the vehicle was freed from the wreckage by police, St John Ambulance and Department of Fire and Emergency Services and rushed to Royal Perth Hospital, where he remains in a critical condition.
