Man seriously assaulted in Swan View

MIDLAND Detectives are seeking information regarding a man who they believe was seriously assaulted in Swan View at the weekend.

Police were called to Midland Hospital on Sunday, August 27 after a 30-year-old man was brought to the emergency area with multiple serious injuries.

The injured man had been taken to the hospital by a friend.

Police attended the hospital and it was established that the man had been found injured in a park/laneway between Chartwell Way and Talbot Road, Swan View. It is believed he was the victim of a serious assault at that location.

The injured man remains in a critical condition in hospital.

Anyone with information regarding this incident, or who saw or heard anything suspicious in the park areas in the vicinity of Abingdon Road, Talbot Road, Chartwell Way and Churchill Drive between midnight and 3am on August 27 is asked to call Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 00.
