A CREDIT card stolen with a purse at a Midland shopping centre was used at a local supermarket, as well as liquor stores and supermarkets in Guildford and Bassendean, before being cancelled.

The purse was taken from a woman’s handbag between 12.30pm and 2pm on Sunday, March 5 when she was shopping with her husband, with purchases made with her card before she realised it was missing.

Police have released CCTV images of a man they believe can help with their investigation.

He is described as being tan-skinned, between 20 and 25 years old, with shaved short hair, dark facial hair and a thin build.

He was wearing a dark-coloured T-shirt, dark shorts with a white stripe down each side and dark Nike runners with a white stripe.

Anyone with information can report it online or call 1800 333 000.
