Last term students studied both ancient cultures and then tried to experience what life would have been like for a soldier in ancient times.
Students researched and created their very own authentic armour, constructed chariots and even designed team shields and war cries to use as they marched into battle.
Year 7 curriculum co-ordinator Candice Betts said the highlight of the course was the games day when the students held chariot races and games.
Head of Year Chris Mason dressed as the Year 7s fearless emperor.
The end of the games was celebrated with an elaborate feast the students themselves prepared.
