Middle Swan: man stabbed in head after altercation at home

A MAN has been left seriously injured with stab wounds after an attack in Middle Swan early yesterday morning.

Midland detectives said the 48-year-old Eden Hill man was stabbed after running after a group of men who had forced their way into a home on Spiers Place and threatened the occupants with a firearm about 1am.

The group had fled towards Toodyay Road after an altercation.

The victim received stab wounds to his head and body.

Police have released a composite image (below) of a man they believe can help them.

He is described as aged 25-30, dark skinned, with a slim build and short curly dark hair.
