THE Midland and Districts Business Club recently held its annual fundraising auction and raised $1500 from local businesses, members and friends.

President of the Midland and Districts Business Club Gavan Ellis said it chose a deserving local charity and this year the Hills Riding for the Disabled was awarded the cash.

“They have been part of the local Hills community for over 30 years and do a wonderful job of providing beneficial equestrian activities to a wide range of people,” he said.
