Midland detectives charge man over double stabbing at West Swan caravan park

MIDLAND detectives have charged a man after two people were stabbed at a West Swan caravan park last night.

It will be alleged about 9.30pm, the man was involved in a physical altercation with a 50-year-old woman and a 42-year-old man at Swan Valley Tourist Park where both received several lacerations.

Both were taken to Royal Perth Hospital where the woman is in a critical but stable condition in ICU and the man is in a stable condition.

A 51-year-old man from West Swan has been charged with grievous bodily harm, wounding, common assault, and assaulting a public officer.

He is due to appear before the Midland Magistrates Court today.
