MIDLAND detectives are continuing their investigation into a video that emerged this week of a kangaroo being struck several times.
The video shows two people striking the kangaroo, with one person filming the incident.
On Friday a person attended a police station in regional WA and is helping with the investigation.
The investigation into the identity of the other two people involved, and the circumstances surrounding the actions caught on camera, is continuing.
Police were sent the video, which includes laughter, by a TV news outlet yesterday.
The RSPCA put a call-out for information.
A spokesman said they had received “a number of leads” which they had passed on to police.
