Midland Gate ram raid: 28-year-old Beckenham man charged over October 30 incident

MIDLAND Detectives have charged a 28-year-old man over a burglary at Midland Gate Shopping Centre last month, where more than $40,000 in jewellery was stolen.

The man was charged on Saturday after an alleged pursuit with police through Perth’s southern suburbs.

He was charged with 21 offences including aggravated burglary, burglary, stealing, stealing a motor vehicle and criminal damage by fire after the alleged ram raid on October 30.

Detectives are also investigating other linked incidents.

The Beckenham man will face Perth Magistrates Court on December 4.
