Staff writerMidland Kalamunda Reporter

LIFE for a mystery lotto winner just got a whole lot cushier, with a Midland shopper scooping the pool in Sunday night’s Set For Life draw.

The winning ticket in was sold at The Lucky Charm Midland.

Rather than being handed a giant lump sum, the win entitles the ticket holder to $20,000 per month for the next 20 years – a grand total of $4.8 million.

This is just the 10th winner of the competition since its launch in August last year, and only the second from Western Australia.

Cheryl Wild, manager of The Lucky Charm, said she hoped the winner was a Midland local.

“It’s been a while since we’ve had a big winner, about eight or nine years, so this is excellent,” she said.

“I’d love the winner to be one of our regular customers because they’re all so lovely.

“This is wonderful and the prize will certainly set someone up for the rest of their life.”
