Mr Bacon was arrested and charged by Midland Police as a result of an investigation into the matter.

Magistrate Martin Flynn read out the allegation in court to ensure the Midland resident, who is on bail, understood the charge.

Mr Bacon nodded and his lawyer asked for the matter to be adjourned until later in the year for a committal hearing.

Magistrate Flynn set the police committal hearing for October 23 in Midland Magistrates Court and extended Mr Bacon’s bail until that date.

According to police, Mr Bacon allegedly spoke to several other girls as he left the cinema and called for anyone he spoke to, to call Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000 or report online at crimestopperswa.com.au.

Mr Bacon is also due to appear in Midland Magistrates Court on October 26 over two charges of common assault in circumstances of aggravation or racial aggravation that he has pleaded not guilty to.
