Midland retail worker verbally abused by woman who stole clothes and makeup

A RETAIL store staff member was verbally abused after trying to stop a woman leaving a Midland shop with bags of stolen clothing and makeup.

Two women entered the store about 2.50pm on Friday, June 28 and went to the clothing section with environment friendly bags.

One of the women was stopped by staff when leaving with two bags full of goods she had not paid for.

She verbally abused the staff member after being asked to show her bags and then left with them.

Police have released images of a woman they believe can help with their inquiries.

She is described as dark skinned, medium build with dark hair tied up.

She was last seen wearing a pink tracksuit top and long dark pants.
