Midvale: man charged with dangerous driving appears in court

A MALE driver who allegedly struck three boys in Midvale with the car he was driving is due to appear in court later this month.

It will be alleged that Biju Paulose (48) hit three boys aged 12 to 16 years old with the BMW SUV he was driving on Farrell Road about 6.30pm on Tuesday.

The two teenagers were taken to Royal Perth Hospital.

A 15-year-old was in a critical condition and admitted to the intensive care unit, while a 16-year-old was in a serious but stable condition.

A 12-year-old boy escaped harm.

The 48-year-old Jane Brook resident was charged with two counts of dangerous driving causing grievous bodily harm and two counts of failing to report a crash where grievous bodily harm has occurred.

He appeared in Midland Magistrates Court yesterday where the matter was adjourned until August 30.
