More volunteers urged to rise up

Volunteer co-ordinator Michelle Blackhurst said some important volunteer positions remained unfilled.

Race day volunteers in particular are required from August 30 to Saturday September 5.

"You can nominate the number of days you wish to help out for, from one day to five," Ms Blackhurst said. "No experience is necessary and we will provide you with all the training you need."
