THE Community Arts Network (CAN) and Mundaring Arts Centre (MAC) will hold a creative industry networking event next month.

The September 7 event coincides with MAC’s Habits of Horses exhibition currently on show at the Midland Junction Arts Centre and will feature an interactive performance by the Madjitil Moorna Choir.

Artists, arts workers or those interested in community arts and cultural development can attend to learn more about the organisations and mingle with like-minded people.

As the new managers of the local arts centre, MAC will talk about their future plans for the space before the choir, led by Della Rae Morrison, perform and teach participants a song in Noongar.

The event is free for CAN and MAC members or $5 for non-members with refreshments provided.

It will run from 4pm to 5.30pm at the Midland Junction Art Centre, 276 Great Eastern High Way.
